The Auction:

This is a complete SPECIALIZED set of two 20¢ definitive stamps FVF and MNH. It contains all non-error printing varieties of Scott number 1949 Rocky Mountain Bighorn. Both gummed booklet stamps are perf. 11 or 2 or 3 sides. Mouse over the image above to see examples of the tagging.

The small stamps were an experiment to save USPS money by using less paper. This left little margin for error and centering varied considerably within each booklet. The 1982 definitives were not part of a themed set. The dark blue colored stamps were printed in vending booklets of 20 as 2 panes of 10.

The Type I mini stamps were reprinted many times on the Cottrell press using plate numbers 1 -29 (some #s are quite rare). The Type II variety was printed on the Giori B press using plate number 34 only. As with the Transportation coil reissues, the B press reissued sheep have a slightly smaller design.

Twenty cents met the first class 1oz rate from Nov. 1, 1981 through Feb. 16, 1985. The water activated stamps are carefully taken from BK142 and BK142a $4.00 vending booklets of 20. The pane positions may vary from the stock image.

• Stock photo. The actual stamps may be different from this display, however we guarantee that they will be comparable or better condition or fully refunded. The logos in the images are added digitally and are not printed on the actual stamps. The black background display mount is not included. For pane singles the straight edge position may vary. For blocks/strips the position order will always be exactly as pictured.

• Purchasing is self service. If you do not understand our terms please feel free to contact us for an invoice. We typically will not send a manual invoice because we have no way of knowing when you are done shopping until you ask.

• You will need to please pay combined. You will receive individual notifications from eBay with payment information after each item. You are free to combine and pay at any time that you are ready. Payments should be made within "reasonable time" following purchase. If this is not possible then please contact us ahead of time to make payment arrangements.

• Please do not pay for items separately (one at a time). This increases the fees that both eBay and PayPal charge us. Higher business costs means that we have to raise our stamp prices.

• Example - When purchasing more than 1 item, please Do Not immediately click confirm and pay now after each item that has been clicked buy now. Simply wait until you have all the items you want and then pay all together in one payment. Payment should automatically combine. If it does not please contact us.

Regarding Shipping:

• Items will be shipped together (even if you ignore these polite reminders and pay separately).

• Shipping is always free to USA. We actually lose money on shipping and have not raised our rates in over 15 years!

• The security of your order is guaranteed by our special packaging. Tracking is provided when available.

• We ship Internationally but not to every country in the world. Please verify postage rates before purchasing. Large International orders will be shipped via US Registered Mail at current rates. Please understand that Registered International mail might take as long as a month to deliver after we have posted it and patience is appreciated.

• We always ship at earliest convenience. This means that a mail-run may occur multiple times a day. We have no control over the speed of mail, but have found the USPS to be very reliable. We strive to be competitive in all aspects of the eBay market. If for any reason you are unhappy we hope that you will contact us for quick resolution.

Regarding Feedback:

• Feedback is left following the conclusion of each transaction. Feedback is not left immediately because the transaction is not over until you have your stamps and we know that all is well. The fastest way to receive feedback is to leave it for us and we should soon respond in turn.

• We always leave feedback for each positive transaction. There is never a need to ask us. We never send messages to customers asking for feedback but hope that they will choose to leave a positive.

• We would rather work things out but reserve the right to refuse service to anybody at any time. Stamp collectors as a whole are very honest people. A few bad apples attempt to manipulate the system for personal gain or other reasons. These parties are blocked. We politely ask blocked bidders not to contact us.
